Get started with 360°photos

Capture immersive, full-room documentation in seconds with 360° photos. Using a supported Ricoh THETA camera and the ��ϳԹ� mobile app, you can quickly connect, choose the right capture mode for the space, and add detailed visuals directly to rooms or notes — helping you document every angle with clarity and confidence.

NCircle supports three sixty degree photo capture through an integration with Ricoh Theta cameras. Supported Ricoh Theta models are the Theta X, Theta Z or Z1, Theta V, Theta SC, and Theta S. If you’re using the Theta S, make sure it’s running firmware version one point six two or later. All other cameras should work with any commercially available firmware version. The Ricoh Theta camera has its own Wi Fi network. It’s important to know that before you can start capturing three sixty photos in nCircle, you need to connect to the camera’s network. Make sure the camera is powered on, then go into your phone’s Wi Fi settings. The network name will match the camera’s serial number, which can be found on the bottom of the device. The password for the network will be the numerical sequence at the end of the serial number. You may see a warning or a note saying you have no Internet connection. This is expected since the Theta network is just with a camera and isn’t on the Internet. This won’t keep you from connecting to the camera and taking three sixty photos, so you’re safe to ignore the warning. Once you’ve set this up the first time, your phone will remember this network, and you can simply switch to it when you’re using your camera within Circle. Taking three sixty photos in the app is very similar to taking regular photos. Once you’ve connected your camera, open a room, and tap the orange plus button. Click add photos and videos. Select the option for three sixty. If you haven’t connected your camera yet, you’ll be prompted to do that. Theta cameras have two different photo capture modes, time shift and single shot. Time shift mode is recommended for medium to large spaces. In this mode, the camera will take the photo in two steps. First, the front lens, and then the back. We suggest you stand behind the back lens when you start so that you’re not in the first shot. Tap the white capture button to start the snaps. The front lens will capture the first image, then there will be a delay for you to move to the other side of the camera, and the back lens will take the second picture. The camera will then process these two images into a single three sixty photo. You can preview the image and retake it if necessary. Otherwise, tap save. For large rooms, you may want to set up the camera in multiple locations to take additional three sixty photos. If you want a longer delay in between snaps so that you have more time to move out of the shot, you can extend it in the three sixty photo settings. Just tap the gear icon at the top right. Delay times can be adjusted for both the front lens and the back lens shots. For small rooms and spaces like closets, small exam rooms, and so on, we recommend using single shot mode. In this mode, the camera takes the entire three sixty photo from both the front and the back lens in one shot. It will capture everything in the scene, so try to leave the room or step away from the camera’s view before you snap the photo so you’re not in the image. Again, you can review the image and retake if necessary, or tap Save. Under the settings, you can also adjust the delay time before the shot is taken in this mode. When you’re done taking your three sixty photos, turn off the camera, and disconnect from the Theta’s network to begin syncing your data and preserve the camera’s battery. Three sixty photos behave like any other photo in ��ϳԹ�, meaning that they can be marked up, added to notes or sketches, moved between rooms, used in custom forms, etc. And like other types of media, they’ll be included in your PDF reports so that adjusters, clients, and other stakeholders can view them.

TOKYO and KITCHENER, ON, May 12, 2025&�Բ��;–&�Բ��;, a global technology leader and digital workplace services provider, and ��ϳԹ�., a property restoration and insurance documentation software company, today launched a strategic partnership bringing 360-degree capture, powered by RICOH THETA, into the ��ϳԹ� app.

As part of this collaboration, various RICOH THETA models will now connect with the ��ϳԹ� app to capture immersive visuals of property damage. RICOH THETA 360-degree photos add a new level of visual clarity to ��ϳԹ�’s full suite of field documentation tools, backing up every claim with confidence.
